The Service
LegalCraft is an AI-powered tool that generates legal documents (privacy policies, terms & conditions, cookie policies, and return policies) based on information you provide about your business. The service is available at various subscription tiers.
Important Disclaimer
LegalCraft is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. The documents generated by our service are created using AI and templates based on common legal standards. They are designed to be a starting point for your legal compliance needs.
We strongly recommend having any generated documents reviewed by a qualified attorney before publishing them on your website, especially if your business operates in regulated industries or handles sensitive data.
Accounts
You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate information when creating your account and business profiles
- Maintaining the security of your account credentials
- All activity that occurs under your account
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or are used for fraudulent purposes.
Subscriptions and Billing
- Free accounts have limited features as described on our pricing page
- Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe
- You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
- We do not offer refunds for partial months
- We may change pricing with 30 days notice
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the service to generate documents for illegal purposes
- Misrepresent AI-generated documents as having been drafted by an attorney
- Attempt to reverse-engineer or extract our AI prompts or templates
- Resell or redistribute generated documents as a competing service
- Abuse the service by making excessive API requests to circumvent plan limits
- Use the service to generate spam or misleading content
Intellectual Property
Documents generated by LegalCraft are yours to use. You retain full ownership of the content generated for your businesses. However, LegalCraft retains ownership of the underlying templates, AI prompts, software, and service infrastructure.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LegalCraft shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:
- Your use of or inability to use the service
- Any legal consequences arising from the use of generated documents
- Errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in generated documents
- Unauthorized access to your account
Our total liability for any claim related to the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that generated documents will meet the specific legal requirements of your jurisdiction or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
